<p>The work plans of the APPPC Standing Committee of Plant Quarantine for 2012-2013 were discussed and adopted at the 27th session of APPPC held in Manila, Philippines, from 15-19 August 2011. The programme covers nomination of delegates to the Grain Meeting in Vancouver, diagnostic workshop on SALB, working group on information management & exchange, ePhyto updates, implementation of ISPMs, regional workshops on review of draft ISPMs, training workshop in surveillance, development of information exchange programme, planning working group meeting on APPC work plant for 2014-2015, development of RSPMs on pest movement by machinery, RSPM on fumigation, RSP on Irradiation, more SALB workshops, and preparation of standards.</p>
