FAO Regional Training Course on Cassava Mealybug and Its Management (with special focus on the parasitoid Anagyru lopezi) is scheduled to take place in Pattaya, Chonburi Province, Thailand, from 1-5 August 2011. The objectives are to familiarise participants from the GMS countries with the life cycle, ecology and natural enemies of Cassava Mealybug (CM), to training participants on the parasitorid A. lopezi and to enable the GMS countries to become prepared and be ready to deal with the CM should it be present in their country.
