Description

Regional standards for phytosanitary measures (RSPMs)are developed and adopted by APPPC as part of the plant protection programme of the Commission’s contracting parties. This programme makes available to contracting and other interested parties RSPMs to support regional harmonization, with the aim to facilitate trade and avoid the use of unjustifiable measures as barriers to trade. This standard on Guidance on the Operation of Land Border Entry Points for Loca Trade was endorsed by the twenty-sixth session of the Asia and Pacific Plant Protection Commission in September 2009.
