Description

A Regional International Phytosanitary Portal Pilot Workshop for Asia and Pacific was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 17 - 20 January 2005. This pilot workshop was jointly organized by the Secretariats of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), the Asia and Pacific Plant Protection Commission (APPPC) and the Department of Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industries Malaysia. The workshop covered specific invited member countries in the Asia and Pacific Region and was funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
