Description

Regional standards for phytosanitary measures (RSPMs) are developed and adopted by APPPC as part of the plant protection programme of the Commission’s contracting parties. This programme makes available to contracting and other interested parties RSPMs to support regional harmonization, with the aim to facilitate trade and avoid the use of unjustifiable measures as barriers to trade. This standard on Guidelines for Protection against South American Leaf Blight of Rubber was endorsed by the twenty-sixth session of APPPC in September 2009.
