Description

Regulatory management of bio-pesticides through registration is one of essential component to the sustainable development of bio-pesticides. In order to help countries improve capacity of bio-pesticide, the APPPC in collaboration with Chinese Ministry of Agriculture through Institute for Control of Agrochemicals (ICAMA), China, to organize a regional training workshop on registration of bio-pesticides, which was convened from 15-19 August in Wuhan, China. The workshop aimed at enhancement of the bio-pesticide regulatory management in Asian countries through improvements of knowledge and capability of registrations by providing operational references of registration with practical experiences in this field. More than twenty participants from Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, DPRK, India, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, Thailand and Pacific participated in the workshop.
