Description

At its 117th Session in November 1999, the FAO Council approved two sets of amendments to the Agreement designed to bring the Agreement into line with the new revised Text of the IPPC and SPS Agreement, we well as with modern requirements for plant protection and to strengthen the Asia and Pacific Plant Protection Commission. The amendments did not involve new obligations for the Contracting Governments. This document consists of the text of the Agreement as currently in force and amendments approved by the FAO Council at its 117th Session in November 1999 other than amendments related to the South American leaf blight of Hevea.
